HOLY FUCK is an electronic improv ensemble founded by Brian Borcherdt in 2004.

Borcherdt was raised in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and moved to Toronto in 2000, just as the city's new independent music scene was starting to make noise. He has performed with the bands By Divine Right and Hot Carl Loves the Ladies and recorded his own material under the name The Remains of Brian Borcherdt, but is best known for leading Holy Fuck's electronic shenanigans.

The group began as an experiment in making electronic music using non-instruments (a 35mm film synchronizer, toys, etc.) and vintage analogue keyboards rather than contemporary digital techniques. The ensemble is now known for its full live band dance music jams that bring experimental music to the masses at the biggest music festivals in the world: Coachella, Lollapalooza, Montreal Jazz Festival, and Glastonbury.

Their recordings have been nominated for a Juno Award and shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize.
