City Sonic Toronto Sleaze Rock Artists Die Mannequin

CARE FAILURE is a real wild child. The singer and guitar player founded "sleeze rock" trio Die Mannequin in 2006.

The band's 2007 EP Slaughter Daughter produced the hit single "Do It Or Die", which scored heavy rotation on MuchMusic and 102.1 The Edge, plus touring invites from bands like Billy Talent and Guns 'n' Roses.

Die Mannequin is about hard rock riffs, f.u. attitude and strong melodies. Many songs deal with the harsh realities of Care's life as a homeless teenager addicted to hard drugs, her rehab and recovery. Care is also well known for her outrageous stage persona - she is prone to jumping off stage to perform atop the bar or out in the street on cars.

Die Mannequin's first full-length album, Fino + Bleed, was produced by Matt Hyde (Slayer!) and was released September 2009.
