City Sonic Toronto Artist and Alt-Country Singer Justin Rutledge

JUSTIN RUTLEDGE is a singer/songwriter born and raised in the Junction neighbourhood of Toronto.

His literate alt.country debut No Never Alone (Six Shooter Records) was called an "incredible breakthrough" by the NME in 2005; the follow-up The Devil in Stanley Park earned him a Juno Nomination and the honour Best Toronto Songwriter by NOW Magazine.

His latest release is 2008's Man Descending, based on the award-winning book by Guy Vanderhaeghe. Justin is currently collaborating with Canadian author Michael Ondaatje on a music project to be released in 2009.

He can be found performing across North America and the UK or hanging out around Parkdale.
