City Sonic Toronto Artist Woodhands

WOODHANDS is the electro-pop duo of vocalist/keyboardist Dan Werb and drummer/vocalist Paul Banwatt.

The band's debut Heart Attack was released by Paper Bag Records in 2008 and earned them "one to watch" status by Exclaim! and "best electro album of the year" by iTunes Canada. In no time, their live performances have become must-see shows: high-energy dance parties with the swagger of glam rock, all-live (no samples) and prominently featuring Werb's retro keytar and hilarious "nerd chic" variety show style banter between the pair.

No surprise, Woodhands have been sought to perform at Toronto's most popular clubs, festivals and series, but also often seek out their own unconventional spaces, including a "pool party" show. They've also toured North America, Europe, China and Japan.

Two new EPs with remixes of their club hits "Dancer" and "I Wasn't Made for Fighting" are available now, along with an exclusive iTunes live session.
